Today at around 5 pm, it snowed here in Burbank, CA. You might say, so what? Because it never snowed here before, not since 1949.
And because of this strange occurrence, the residents ran outside their houses to enjoy it. That included me.
After living in Edmonton, Alberta for more than six years, this should not have been a big deal anymore. I’ve seen and experienced worst winter in Canada.
So what was the excitement all about? It’s the joy of watching people experiencing winter fun, with children and parents alike throwing and dodging snow balls against each other, while others built snowmen.
